ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My work is an expression of my fascination with the patterning and texture of particles, minutiae and intricacy in the microsopic compared to the vast mass we call 'planet'. The dynamic in this series of mixed media paintings stems from forcing together the macroscopic and the microscopic.

Perhaps all of our experiences are either of the whole, in which we give up our sense of self and secondly experiences of parts, in which we focus on some defined object.
